The value of these properties is, on average, between 60% and 70% of the market price, making the purchase especially attractive both for primary residence and for investment purposes. Banks tend to show a favorable attitude toward mortgage financing of their own assets, which means that the interest rates applicable to these transactions are often lower than standard market conditions.
